📘 Introducing Our New Guidebook: Transformative Climate Innovation Action Plans for Island Ecosystems
In our ongoing efforts to accelerate research and innovation (R&I) in the energy and climate sector, we launch today: the MICIE project guidebook.
Empowering Island Ecosystems
The Mediterranean Island Cleantech Innovation Ecosystem (MICIE) project served as the foundation for this comprehensive toolkit, aimed at bolstering R&I ecosystems in small island states. Our primary focus was to help regions like Cyprus and Malta achieve their climate and energy targets outlined in their National Energy and Climate Plans (NECPs).
What to Expect
Inside the guidebook, you’ll find:
- Insights on enhancing R&I initiatives in small island states
- Strategies for achieving ambitious climate targets by 2030 and beyond
- A multifaceted approach to ecological transition, bridging policy and action
Who Can Benefit?
Whether you’re a policymaker, industry specialist, researcher, or academic entity, this guidebook offers invaluable insights and actionable strategies to drive transformative changes towards a sustainable future.
