Under Maritech Talent Programme Accelerator

Are you a start-up, scale-up or SME with an innovative solution that can address emerging challenges of the maritime sector – then the MariTech Talent Programme needs you.
Teams, representing maritime challenge owners (port authorities, shipowners, operators etc.) and professionals from deep-tech startups, scale-ups, and SMEs will collaborate to identify helpful practical solutions with potential to solve existing challenges, while receiving necessary training along the way.
What We Are Looking For
Applicants should address at least one of the following key challenges:
- Cybersecurity and Threats
- Fuels and Technology
- Sustainability and Innovation
We are looking for start-ups or SMEs for the above challenges on a rolling basis.

By joining the MariTech Talent programme, selected participants will gain:
- Access to mentorship from maritime experts: Work alongside maritime experts to refine your solution. Additionally participating start-ups will have the opportunity to present through a workshop their solution to relevant stakeholders.
- One day training on identifying the needs of the maritime industry and how to address them.
- Networking: Opportunity to meet in person with maritime experts from Greece, Bulgaria and Cyprus. Connect with potential partners, customers, and investors in the maritime sector to accelerate your growth.
- Tailored Support: Receive guidance and feedback from industry experts in areas such as product development, marketing, and market entry strategies.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the programme, your start-up must:
- Be an established start-up, scale-up, or SME
- Have developed a solution with TRL 6 or above
- Able to travel to Cyprus, Greece and Bulgaria in mid to late 2025
- Applications are open to solution owners from all European countries.
Selection Process
Applications will be reviewed by industry experts from Bulgaria, Greece and Cyprus with extensive knowledge and experience on maritime topics. Following an assessment of all applications, eligible candidates will receive an acceptance email with additional information regarding the project.
Successful applicants will be informed by February 26th, 2025
Your total involvement in the project will be approximately 40h raging from February to September.
