We are pleased to announce that the Sustianble Energy Laboraroty in collaboration with N.K NeoKypro Ent. Ltd. is tackling the first official photovoltaic façade installation in Cyprus at one of the University’s buildings. The project itself will also endorse the use and installation of Building Integrated PhotoVoltaics (BIPV) and the promotion of nearly Zero-Energy Buildings (nZEBs). Assistant Professor Alexandros Charalambides, Director of the Sustainable Energy Laboratory of CUT will lead the research activities of the project, while the Estate Management Service and the Environmental Policy Office will be in charge of the installation with collaboration with NeoKypro Ltd. The results of the project will become available to the wider public.
