The Deputy Minister of Shipping, Mr. Vassilios Demetriades, is urging the public to help co-create a long-term strategic vision for Cyprus shipping.
In a video posted in the social media platforms (can be found here), the Deputy Minister highlights the urgency for energy transition globally and marks the path towards a decarbonised future as one of shipping’s greatest challenges.
Mr. Demetriades poses the question of what more can Cyprus do to achieve sustainability in the marine and maritime sector and invites the public to share their views and ideas with the Deputy Ministry by asking the citizens to “be part of leading positive change”.
